Our standard is to run a programme of regular events and clubs in addition to meeting the individual lifestyle profile for each person living in our care homes. There are engaging activities planned each day based on the lifestyle preferences and abilities of the residents. Each home has a programme of social events and entertainment both within the home and cultural experiences and opportunities including visits to theatre, exhibitions and local community events/places of interest. We have a dedicated lifestyles team within each home that is able to support residents to continue hobbies and pastimes and explore new experiences. These team members work closely with residents and the wider care team to discuss and plan to meet individual goals and aspirations.
Our philosophy of care is that activity and meaningful occupation is the responsibility of all. From spontaneous moments of fun and interaction, to supporting an individual to do their own laundry, gardening or having a cup of coffee and sharing the cross.
